Cup of Cards – Refund & Returns Policy

Last updated: 7 January 2026

1. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.

  • To exercise this right, you must notify us at business@cupofcards.com within 14 days of delivery.

  • You then have a further 14 days to return the item(s) to us.

The day you receive your order counts as day 0.

2. Returns Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or sent incorrectly.

Sealed products (including trading card booster packs, boxes, and tins) that have been opened cannot be returned unless faulty.

3. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you by email whether your refund is approved or rejected.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.

Refunds include:

  • The item price

  • The standard outbound delivery cost (if applicable)

We reserve the right to deduct amounts if returned items show excessive signs of use or handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and condition of the goods, in line with Consumer Rights Act 2015.

4. Fair Use & Fraud Prevention

We take fraud prevention seriously to protect both our customers and the business:

  • We reserve the right to refuse refunds or returns if there is evidence of misuse, card swapping, or fraudulent activity.

  • All single cards are inspected and documented prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy and condition.

This is consistent with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which may use your personal data to verify orders and prevent fraud.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Single cards and sale items are generally non-refundable unless faulty.

6. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
